Does it seem like your always WAITING for something in life.... well, try waiting for everything. We were expecting a brand new baby boy to be dropped from heaven by yesterday... guess what? WE'RE STILL WAITING! The Dr. said he would get him here in another week if needs be. Joel was told a month ago by Hill Air Force Base that they were going to send him an offer for a mechanical engineering position working on the F-16s. Well, WE'RE STILL WAITING! We have been told that the offer should come in the next couple weeks. So, for now, we are hopeful that things will start happening in our lives.
Joel graduated from Utah State University as a mechanical engineer in December 2008. He worked extra hard to get done by taking 23 credits his last semester. For Liz, it felt like he was never home... wait a minute. He really never was home. He spend 10-16 hour days sometimes 6 days a week to get through his homework. It was quite a hardship, but Joel seemed to plow right through. Now that he has achieved his goal, he is just waiting for that perfect job to start. During the waiting game he has gotten a little bit board, read some things (just for fun), and cleaned the house numerous times. Liz is a lucky woman to have such a wonderful "house wife".
Liz started her maternity leave 2 days ago and is way too anxious to have baby in hand. We are both tired of everyone wondering about baby, if he's here yet, and what the status is. Believe me... if we knew, we would tell ya.
So when the waiting game is over we will be sure to let everyone know. Until then... we'll try to keep smiling and find something to occupy the time.
